The Ritz Carlton, Reynolds Lake Oconee
I was fortunate to spend a few days earlier this week at The Ritz Carlton, Reynolds Lake Oconee, a resort about 90 min east of Atlanta and an hour or so away from Athens and Augusta.
This was my first time at the resort and it is incredibly beautiful. We were also blessed with amazing late October weather while there - highs reached the mid 80s so I was able to enjoy the pool and the grounds with the summer-like weather while enjoying the fall foliage on the trees.
We enjoyed fabulous dinners on site and a sunset boat cruise around Lake Oconee on Monday night. There are big changes happening for the Lake Oconee Ritz including a renovated fitness center, spa, lobby, and a brand new speakeasy bar. If you're in the Southeast and looking for a relaxing and luxurious place to get away, this hotel is not to be missed!
One of the best parts of my stay? The service.
Everyone we encountered at the hotel delivered excellent service and it was clear that there is a commitment to excellence at this hotel. It's one of the first things I noticed when I arrived and I continued to experience it throughout my stay.
